No form in triplicate, no reference number, no attested photocopy. One address, and a person reads what arrives.

The directory

Every desk below is the same inbox: cockroach@sarkaar.wtf. The department names are a joke. The destinations are not — each one is the shortest route to someone who can act on what you sent.

  • Grievance redressalYou are on this site and you want the entry answered, corrected or taken down. No proof required to get a hearing. takedown & right of reply
  • Second thoughtsWe stated something that is not true. Fixes are logged in public, including the removals nobody would otherwise notice. corrections
  • Receipts counterYou have a clip or a link. It goes to a queue only we read; nothing sent to us is ever published automatically. the form on the home page
  • Rights & licencesYou hold rights in a portrait or a clip used here and object to its use. It comes down while the provenance is checked. cockroach@sarkaar.wtf
  • Notices, legalLawyers. Email is the whole channel — there is no registered office to send a courier to and no clerk to hand it to. cockroach@sarkaar.wtf

What this office does not have

  • A phone number. Nothing that matters here can be settled in a call neither of us can quote afterwards.
  • An office to visit, a counter to queue at, or a token machine to take a number from.
  • A spokesperson, a press officer, or anyone whose job is to make this sound better than it is.
  • A form to download, print, sign, scan at 40 dpi and attach.
  • An auto-reply thanking you for your valuable feedback and doing nothing with it.

Office hours are whenever the inbox is opened. There is no lunch break, because there is no office.

How to get answered quickly

A sarkaari form wants your father’s name and his father’s name. This one wants a URL.

  • The page, and the exact line you are writing about.
  • What you want: a reply published, a correction, or a removal.
  • Anything that supports it. A link beats an assertion, and an assertion beats silence — none of it is a precondition for being read.
  • Whether you are the person described, or writing for them.

Acknowledgement within 72 hours. A claim that is disputed and cannot be settled at once is marked as disputed on the page while it is checked, so nobody reads it as decided in the meantime. The full procedure is on takedown.

If you would rather not write to us at all

The form on the home page takes a link or a file. Its email field is optional: leave it blank and the tip still lands — you only give up the one way we have of coming back to you with a question.

It is not a secure drop, and calling it one would be exactly the kind of claim this site exists not to make. Nothing here is end-to-end encrypted, an uploaded clip carries whatever metadata your phone wrote into it, and we cannot promise an anonymity we have not built. If your safety turns on not being identified, use a channel designed for that and not this one.

Not this department

A government office sends you to the next counter, and the next one sends you back. In fairness this one has limits too, so here they are up front rather than after the queue.

  • Taking down something on another site. Our reach ends at this domain.
  • Getting an FIR filed, or unfiled, or read out to you.
  • Authenticating your footage. There is no forensic tooling here — entries link to the original so you can judge it yourself. See methodology.
  • Naming an unidentified person in a clip. This site records public figures acting publicly and does not identify private individuals; see the disclaimer.
  • Legal advice. We are an archive with a mail address, not counsel.
